Health Care Visits
Primary Care Providers (PCPs) are your main healthcare providers in non-emergency situations. Their role is to provide comprehensive health care and to know you and your health history well. They are your first point of contact for all your health-related issues. Building a relationship with your PCP is a crucial aspect of your healthcare regimen. They are equipped to handle a vast majority of your healthcare needs and can guide you along the right path to good health. Services provided by your PCP include, but are not limited to:
1. Preventive care: This involves routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Preventive care helps detect health issues early or prevent them before they start.
2. Annual/Work/School physicals: Regular physical examinations are essential to monitor your health status and catch potential issues early.
3. Sick care visits: If you’re feeling unwell, your PCP is there to diagnose and manage your illness and coordinate your care.
4. Geriatric services: For older adults, PCPs provide geriatric care, focusing on health problems common in older adults, including chronic diseases, nutritional problems, skin ailments, cognitive loss, memory impairment, adverse effects of medications, and immobility issues.
Our primary goal is to serve you and ensure your health needs are met. We’re here to guide you on your journey to health and wellness.
